One of the true blessings of beginning our career at James Berry Vineyard is being able to include this wine in our portfolio. This lot of stunning fruit is all fermented together with 25-50% whole cluster inclusion. The wine was wild fermented and aged in a combination of neutral Hungarian oak and New French oak for 18 months. 

"Lurid violet. A complex, expansive bouquet evokes ripe black and blue fruits, potpourri, five-spice powder, olive and cola, along with smoky mineral and exotic spice topnotes. Sweet and penetrating on the palate, offering deeply concentrated yet surprisingly energetic boysenberry, cassis, licorice candy and spicecake flavors that pick up a sexy floral element on the back half. The strikingly long, floral-driven finish shows superb delineation and fine-grained, late-arriving tannins."-Josh Raynolds Vinous
